What software do I need to open and use the spreadsheet templates?
The software to use should be noted on the product page. For example, the product page may list "Google Sheets" or "Microsoft Excel".
How do I download the Spreadsheet?
After checkout, you should receive an email with a Order Summary and a link to retrieve a copy of the template. Please check your Spam or Junk folder if it does not appear in your Inbox.
I'm new to using spreadsheets. How do I get started, and where can I find guidance?
Spreadsheets are helpful tools used to organize, analyze, and visualize data. For some general guidance and learning resources, you might try exploring: Google Sheets Help Center and Microsoft Excel Training Center. You may also consider other online learning platforms via Coursera, LinkedIn Learning, or Khan Academy.
WIll these spreadsheet templates be updated?
Spreadsheets may be updated to offer better functionality and usability.
How do I collaborate on my version of the template with someone else?
Google Sheets provides this functionality pretty seamlessly. Click the Share button in the top right. You can enter the specific email addresses of any collaborators or click “Copy link” and choose their access level (Viewer, Commenter, or Editor).
Can I use the template on my phone or tablet?
With Google Sheets templates, try using the Google Sheets app for Android or iOS. You may find that some features are more limited compared to the desktop version.
What is your exchange or return policy?
Due to the nature of this software, we generally do not offer exchanges or refunds after purchasing a template. If you experience errors when using this sheet, please let us know.
Can I resell or license the templates?
Our products are strictly for personal use only, no commercial rights are provided for reselling. If you’d like to customize a template further, integrate it into commercial products, or license it for wider distribution, please contact us.
How do I hide or unhide the sheet or section notes?
To the left of the notes, you’ll see a "+" or "-" symbol that you can click on to hide/unhide the group of notes.
Can I adjust the colors, font, or layout?
You can try making visual adjustments as needed. However, some functionality, such as conditional formatting, may be affected. We recommend making a copy of your template and applying those type of edits directly on this copy.

Which cells am I allowed to edit without breaking the template?
There are some non-editable sections and cells that have built-in formulas or references. These are usually called out in the row or column headers, in the Sheet Notes, and/or in the instructions on the product page of the website.
Why am I seeing a #DIV/0! or #VALUE! error in the spreadsheet?
[ #DIV/0! ] may appear when the formula in the cell tries to divide by zero. Other errors such as [ #VALUE! ] may appear when the formula uses the wrong type of input (e.g., text instead of numbers). It is recommended to review your input and make sure required fields are filled in correctly.
How do I protect certain cells or sheets from being edited by mistake?
In Google Sheets: Right-click on the tab → Protect Sheet → Set permissions.
In Excel: Select the cells you want to allow editing → Format Cells → Protection → Uncheck “Locked” → Then protect the sheet via Review → Protect Sheet.
Can I add more rows or columns to the spreadsheet?
Typically, the template should provide amples rows/columns for the average use. If you're a more advanced user, or know that you'd like to add more rows and columns, you may attempt this. However, please remember that some functionality may be affected, so you may want to make a copy to use as a test environment.
Can I undo a change if I make a mistake?
Yes. Press Ctrl+Z (or Cmd+Z on Mac), or click Edit > Undo. In Google Sheets, you can also try using File > Version history to restore earlier versions.
Is there a way to get notifications if someone else (with access) edits the spreadsheet?
Yes. Go to Tools > Notification settings, then choose to be notified when changes are made or when someone submits a form (if linked to one).
